A Seat at the Table

You’re knocking on the door, but the door won’t open. You’ve been asking to be picked, but no one will pick you. You’ve been asking for a seat at the table, but there’s no seat left for you.

Maybe it’s time to stop asking.

If the door won’t open, perhaps it’s time to leave. If the gatekeepers won’t pick you, maybe it’s time to pick yourself. If there’s no seat for you at the table, maybe now is the time to set your own table.

Who’s going to stop you?
