How to increase email conversion

 

The inbox is one of the most competitive marketing environments. Whenever your customer receives an email, she quickly runs through a checklist of questions.

It will usually include some variation of these 3 questions:

  1. Is it relevant?
    Translation: Is this someone I want to hear from?

  2. Is it important?
    Translation: How big of an impact will this have on my life?

  3. Is it urgent?
    Translation: How immediate is the impact? What happens if I don’t respond immediately?

If you can anticipate these questions and thoughtfully address them in your email, you will pass the sniff test and increase the value of your email messages.
