A meaningful life

If you were the last person on earth, would you still do the work you’re doing right now?

If the answer is no, it’s worth asking if you should be doing it at all.

It’s completely possible to be comfortable by simply showing up and being professional. There’s nothing wrong with being comfortable.

But, a meaningful life...well, a meaningful life requires meaningful work.

And vice-versa.

Meaningful work = meaningful life.
Meaningful life = meaningful work.

Whichever way you slice it, you’ll know when you’ve found it.

You’ll know because you’ll enjoy doing the work for its sake, even if you were the last person on earth.
