Don’t go bankrupt

When you ask customers to make a commitment, you’re making a withdrawal.

When you ask a customer to give you time and attention, it’s a form of withdrawal.

When you ask a customer to give you money, you’re making a withdrawal.

If you only made withdrawals from your bank account without making a deposit, what would happen? You’d go bankrupt.

The same principle applies to customers. When we only withdraw from customers without depositing, we bankrupt our engagement.

The alternative is that, when we ask customers to give us their time and money, we also deposit something of equal or greater value.

The path to purpose leads to a prize.
